About The Podcast
The Suck It Up MAN Podcast is where real men have real conversations about life, growth, and purpose. Hosted by Wayne "DonkFishPoker" Palitz and Joshua "PLO Professor" Thatcher, each episode tackles the struggles, lessons, and wins that define masculinity today—from mental health and relationships to discipline, success, and self-improvement.
Our mission is to help men grow stronger, wiser, and more accountable by learning from experience and embracing real-world challenges. Join the movement redefining modern manhood and inspiring men to take ownership of their lives.
DonkFishPoker
Wayne Palitz
Wayne "DonkFishPoker" Palitz has always believed in taking action. His passion for self-improvement began with a simple philosophy: growth comes from stepping out, trying new things, and learning through real experiences. That mindset has guided him through many paths—door-to-door sales, retail, real estate, and even poker, where he also built a following as a YouTube vlogger.
Having lived in five different states, Wayne grew up on the East Coast in New Jersey and now calls California home. Each move gave him new insight into people, connection, and resilience. Those experiences didn’t just shape who he is—they gave him the ability to understand others and help them grow.
Today, Wayne shares life with his wife, Bibi, and his best friend and co-host, Josh. Together, they created the Suck It Up MAN Podcast—a space for honest, raw, and real conversations about men’s health, personal growth, and becoming the best version of yourself.
PLO Professor
Joshua Thatcher
Joshua "PLO Professor" Thatcher is a seasoned poker professional with a sharp strategic mind, developed both at the card table and through years of entrepreneurial business ventures. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame (Class of 2003), Josh brings a deep well of life experience and perspective to the Suck It Up MAN Podcast.
Beyond business and poker, Josh walks a shamanic path—grounded in the belief that while most people carry good intentions, not everyone creates good energy in the world. Through empathy, perspective, and understanding, he strives to bring more peace, clarity, and balance to those he meets.
